This is a Community Calendar for all organizations to use and post upcoming events. If you have an event that you want to post, email United Way at uwofhc@sccoast.net. United Way needs two weeks prior to the event for posting. Please provide the name of the event, brief description, date/time and any photos.

Make Someone's May Day | |

The May Day Basket program is a partnership with Colonial Mall, Easy 105.9/94.5 and United Way of Horry County. The program involves the community (individuals and businesses) making baskets filled with personal items such as: stamps, lotions, soaps, notebooks, pencils, reading books, Kleenexes, hair brushes and etc. The baskets can be dropped off at the Colonial Mall Food Court “May Day Central.” On May 1 st, two United Way Community Partners, Horry County Council on Aging and Mobile Meals, come to the mall and pick up the baskets. They deliver the baskets to the senior shut-ins that receive home-delivered meals. For more information, contact the United Way office at 347-5195. |
