Leadership Giving

Our local United Way’s Board of Directors established the Leadership Giving Program in June 1996. This Leadership Giving Association not only recognizes a tradition of leadership, generosity and boundless enthusiasm, but also fosters, promotes and acknowledges the vital importance of personal giving at an exceptional level.

The Leadership Giving Association in Horry County provides a solid foundation and framework for continued growth and caring. The support from the leadership givers of United Way endows Horry County with greater opportunity to solve problems and meet human service needs.

While each person’s reason for giving is different, the outcome of their generosity is always the same. Lives are changes, Neighborhoods are strengthened. In short, our community becomes a better place to live. United Way invites you to join in this great effort.

There are three Leadership Giving levels:

Horry Society...............................$ 500 - $999

Palmetto Society..........................$ 1,000 - $9,999

Tocqueville Society.......................$ 10,000 – above
